N’FAMADY KOUYATÉ
Fresh from a successful Glastonbury takeover, N’famady Kouyate is a young energetic master musician from Guinea based in Cardiff. A talented multi-instrumentalist who started his UK career by wowing audiences in 2019/20 with his modern interpretations of Mandingue folk songs supporting Gruff Rhys’ Pang! tour. N’famady has gone on to develop his own band and an indie-rock sound with West African influences that gets festival crowds bouncing!
N’famady’s six-piece band (including balafon, vocals, two guitars, bass guitar, drumkit, keyboard, and trumpet) will go down an absolute storm as part of Daring to Dream’s 2024 Festival (Lleswyl).
