To be awarded a £50,000 grant last year from them was incredible.
It signifies their faith & belief in our focus, work and impact on emotional health which is essential to:
- Helping the 1.2 million adults in Wales living with illness to live as well as possible
- Acting as a buffer for all of us to prevent mental illness.
It signifies their faith & belief in us as an organisation, a small organisation with a huge agenda, doing its utmost to do things as well as possible, to create maximum impact, to extend its influence and to strive for sustainability.
Importantly the funds have given us a chance to make progress in our route towards sustainability.

Additional gifts
This grant has brought additional gifts too that we have also appreciated greatly.
A variety of helpful marketing workshops delivered by Media Trust Training, that have provided insights and chances to reflect and make changes.
I was also selected to be assigned a mentor, Hannah Marsden, an account director with Omnicom (a London-based media company).
It has been great to meet Hannah, who has been such a positive influence as a mentor.
That ‘Space to Talk’ and reflect has been invaluable, helping me refine approaches to some of our marketing and in particular to focus on Lleswyl 2027 specifically.
