This Friday at Hilton Cardiff we hold our annual Daring to Dream Ball & Auction.
We are really excited about our forthcoming evening. It is a great chance to get together with so many who support our work and believe in the importance of emotional health as an enabler to living well with illness.
For our fundraising we are putting young adults in Wales living with illness in the spotlight. Highlighting their need to talk about their own emotional responses to illness, celebrating the many who are making their voices heard to promote the needs of young adults and fundraising to provide more #spacestotalk in a variety of ways.
We are paying tribute also to a very special and wonderful young woman, Amy Penn. Amy’s passion for and advocacy for emotional support for young adult cardiac patients has influenced Daring to Dream and its development so much.
The evening: With host Jason Harrold, arrival drinks from 7pm, a 3-course meal, entertainment from Choirs for Good, Cwmbran Deaf Choir, a raffle with fantastic prizes, and an auction with great lots – all followed by a disco – it is an action-packed and fun evening.
