Lleswyl: our dream team of presenters

Daring to Dream is delighted to announce a fantastic team of co-presenters for Lleswyl 2021.

Sian Lloyd is an experienced journalist and broadcaster. She has become a familiar face across the UK, presenting national programmes including BBC Breakfast, BBC Crimewatch Roadshow and Panorama.  Sian has reported on some of the key moments in recent history as a senior correspondent for the BBC.

Sian began her TV and Radio career in Wales, as a reporter and then presenter of BBC Wales Today and the drive-time radio programme Good Evening Wales. Growing up in Wrexham, Sian learnt Welsh. She also presents Welsh language programmes on S4C.

Before becoming a journalist Sian trained as a solicitor in London and Hong Kong but followed her dream of becoming a reporter not long after qualifying. Sian is also an experienced Awards Host and Conference Chair and has extensive knowledge of the live events sector. She lives in Cardiff with her family, and after years of extensive travel for work, will now be based in Wales full time.

Tumi Williams: Aside from solo work as Skunkadelic, Tumi is the founder of 9-piece monster funk collective Afro Cluster and has written, recorded, and toured extensively with the group over the last decade. They’ve appeared at numerous high profile festivals including Glastonbury, Womad, Greenman, Boomtown. Consistently sharing his creative journey he’s honed his networking skills as a booking agent at both Cardiff’s ‘Starving Artists’ promo team and Liverpool’s ‘Fiesta Bombarda’ agency. He is also emerging as an educator running a series of music/art workshops in schools and within his local community demonstrating a dedication to the burgeoning industry.

Jason Harrold: According to his parents Jase – as he’s called for short – could talk before he could walk. Talking in class also paid off for him as the award winning presenter has notched up nearly 30 years on the radio here in Wales. He has also fronted many live events down the years and is no stranger to the camera either having worked for ITV Wales and Eurosport. These  days Jase can be  heard up and down Wales on Smooth Radio weekdays from Midday.
