Ify Iwobi Live Band

Ify Iwobi is a Wales born & bred, Award Winning Welsh/Nigerian Contemporary Pianist, Songwriter, Composer and Producer.  She studied Music Performance at Brunel University in Uxbridge London.

Ify has performed around Wales as a solo artists abs with her ensemble of 10 musicians. She has also performed internationally in London, America, and Nigeria. Ify Iwobi is a BBC Radio Welsh A-List artist and has just broken a record as the first Black Welsh female artist of Nigerian heritage to have 7 consecutive singles to be A-Listed by BBC Radio Wales. Her new single History is teen sing on BBC Radio Wales A-List and has been added to the Welsh Mix by Bethan Elfyn, it has been played on BBC 2, BBC 6, in 5 stations in Antigua Motown Mondays

Ify composes her own original works:
Recent releases have included ‘Flying High,’ her album ‘Illuminate, EP ‘Bossin’ It,’ ‘Solo’ ft Luna Lie Lot and ‘We Won’t Forget’ ft Black History Wales Artists. Two of her‘Bossin’ It’ EP tracks ‘Love Rapsody’ (ft Anwar Siziba) and ‘Thinking About You’ (ft Jinmi Abduls) were A-Listed by BBC Radio Wales. ‘Solo’ ft Luna Lie Lot and the track Ambition have also been BBC Welsh A-Listed.  She composed an award winning tribute track for the NHS and COVID 19 victims of the pandemic in 2021 called We Won’t Forget. Ify has broken the record as the first Black Welsh artist to have 6 consecutive tracks A-Listed by BBC Radio Wales.
