Event Information:
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the current situation regarding Covid-19 and changing Government advice/restrictions, there will be some additional measures in place to ensure the safety of all our participants, staff, volunteers, and instructors. The most up-to-date guidance will be communicated closer to the day, however, taking into consideration the current restrictions in Wales we will be putting in place the following measures:
- We will be asking all participants to arrive promptly at their allocated time slot and adhere to all safety measures in place.
- Instructors managing the ropes will be sanitising between abseilers and wearing masks and/or visors.
- Instructors on the ground will be wearing face masks and socially distancing where safe and possible.
- One pair of gloves per participant.
- Sanitising mandatory before and after all participants.
- Abseil times start from 9.am onwards (times will be allocated by us)
- Abseil to take place on the Pill (West) side of the bridge. Climb 278 steps before abseiling ‘free-fall’ from the boom (platform) to the carpark below.

I wanted to thank you for making the event on Saturday so enjoyable. It’ll be an experience that the Vibrocise team and I will never forget. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The training guys, well… . I’d ‘love’ for you to extend my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Nick in particular as the poor young man got stuck with me and i really was a damn challenge because i was beyond petrified. He amazingly and miraculously got me over that edge…i’m still re-living it!. What a super Bucket-list tick off for my dear mother in Spirit and me.
BRISTOL CASTLEMEAD BUILDING ABSEIL PARTICIPANT
We used JT Expeditions for a charity Abseil at Cardiff City Stadium last month. Jake and the team were fantastic from start to finish and we would highly recommend them. Jake and Joe were professional and really engaging throughout the day working with different abilities. Their calm and encouraging manner helped get the best out of the people taking part, and their knowledge helped to make all our participants and the charity feel at ease both organising the event and on the day. Our supporters and Cancer Research Wales thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and we are looking forward to our next challenge with Jake and the team in July – The National Three Peaks! Thank you, Jake and Joe, for everything.
